Imagist poetry doin’ what it’s supposed to do! Nice one. And one fewer syllable than the Japanese style — not that I’m counting. (OCD)

I admit, I noticed the near-perfect japanese form too. I even pondered whether a dash could be counted as a silent syllable which is acknowledged without being “read”. Oh well, my illness is an innocuous one, I suppose.

I wonder if it has anything to do with being an auditory reader (something I think Greg and I have in common).

Very nice haiku. “Panoramic thunderstorm”, nicely put. We don’t get those here, with our truncated skies. Pity. I miss them.
