Christmas lights –
low clouds
hide the stars

driving home –
gauzy clouds
blur the full moon

morning headlights –
thin clouds shield
eclipsing moon

Tim thought the flat, white clouds looked like alien spaceships. The image was more striking when the death rays poured forth.

morning commute –
purple clouds rise
opposite the sun

clouds approach
sky darkens, darkens more
tornado watch

storm clouds pass –
universe returns
to night skies
