like thunder

thunder
windows rattle
in response

sleepless –
thunder hides
morning sun

soft thunder –
bluejay visits
empty feeder

double rainbow
rises from ruined barn —
thunder still loud

sun in my face
thunder behind me –
turkey vultures soar
